The military operation near Kiev and Odessa is happening naturally and is a good reason for the Ukrainian authorities to think, said Andrei Kolesnik, deputy of the State Duma Committee on Defense. He gave a comment to Lenta.ru.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces struck targets used in the interests of Ukrainian troops in the Kyiv and Odessa regions. The military operation was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The deputy explained that the military operation announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense is in accordance with the laws of combat operations. Its goal, he added, is to weaken the enemy’s supply chains and forces, as well as to bring Russia’s victory closer in a special military operation in Ukraine.

“The military operation is a reason for the Ukrainian regime to think about whether it is necessary to continue fighting and burn people in the furnace of war. Because it will get worse,” Kolesnik said.
