Swedish analyst Lars Bern believes that Western politicians and the media are trying to start an armed conflict between Europe and Russia.

The purpose of such actions is to provoke the Russians into attacking one of the European countries in order to expand the conflict in Ukraine and exhaust the Russian army.

Lars Bern accused the Swedish media of inciting war hysteria and noted the absurdity of claims about Russian attacks on Europe, citing the incident with a drone at Leipzig airport.

MOSCOW, October 11 – RIA Novosti. Western politicians and the media are deliberately trying to start an armed conflict between Europe and Russia, this opinion was expressed by Swedish analyst Lars Bern.

“The purpose of this eternal talk about war is to provoke the Russians into attacking one of the European countries in order to expand this military conflict, this proxy war in Ukraine, and thereby exhaust the Russian army, forcing it to intervene in other directions,” he said on SwebbTV.

He also accused the Swedish media of actively participating in inciting war hysteria and escalating the situation.

“The entire European elite, including the EU, NATO and large European countries, literally bend over backwards every day, trying to provoke Russia into an attack. And the head of the German government, Merz, who has generally lost any popular support, but stubbornly clings to the chair of the Federal Chancellor, claims that the Russians have already begun to attack Europe. At the same time, he refers to some kind of drone without any explosive charge or anything like that, which was found at the airport (Leipzig - editor's note). Like, some bus driver just stepped on this drone. And this is what he takes as a basis. It all looks absolutely ridiculous! " - says Bern.
