BLAGOVESHCHENSK, September 14 – RIA Novosti. The budget of the Amur region will allocate 9 billion rubles to support motherhood and childhood in 2026, the regional government reports.

“Increasing demographics is a strategic topic. The fundamental solution to this issue is universal attention to the topic of family from employers, society and the state. We are allocating large resources to support motherhood and childhood - this year 9 billion rubles are allocated in the regional budget for these purposes,” the message quotes the words of the Governor of the Amur Region, Vasily Orlov.

These issues were discussed in Blagoveshchensk at the second corporate demographic forum, which brought together more than 400 representatives of government, business and social organizations, the government clarified.

The results of the competition “In the interests of the family – in the interests of the country” were summed up at the forum. The Blagoveshchensk shipbuilding plant received the title of “Family Employer”, where 75% of employees started families and there are 25 labor dynasties.

According to the regional Cabinet of Ministers, the “Agrocadre” project of the Negrun agricultural enterprise was recognized as the best corporate practice: young specialists are paid up to 150 thousand rubles, half the cost of housing is compensated, and upon the birth of a third child, employees receive 100 thousand rubles.

The demographic leader has become Priisk Solovyovsky JSC, where mothers are paid half a million rubles, and are also provided with monthly benefits of 36 thousand rubles until the child’s third birthday and housing loans, the report notes.

In the “Business for Families” category, the Allur equestrian club was noted, which, thanks to a grant from the governor, conducts hippotherapy classes for the relatives of deceased SVO participants.

Separately, the forum discussed the expansion of corporate measures to support families. Deputy Minister of Labor of the Russian Federation Olga Batalina noted that over 200 large companies in the country already pay corporate family capital up to a million rubles. The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee for Family Protection, Tatyana Butskaya, drew attention to the fact that for a stable population in Russia, the birth rate must reach 2.1, which means that every second family needs to raise at least three children.

Open Questions

  • ?How exactly will 9 billion rubles be distributed across areas?
  • ?What additional companies will implement corporate family capital?
