It will be officially broadcast on CCTV-12 during prime time on September 6.
From the pain of modern humiliation to the loyalty of contemporary border defense, from self-reliance in the military industry to the ingenuity and innovation of powerful weapons, from real records on the battlefield to the warm journey home at the evacuation site, "Building National Defense Together" sets out "where mountains and rivers are broken, heroes rise into confusion", "from the battle of founding the country to guarding the frontier" and "weapons and industry strengthen the country" Paragraphs such as “Great Powers Value Weapons” and “Looking at China’s Governance through World Chaos” build this immersive performance that spans ancient and modern times. Based on the multiple narrative dimensions of history and reality, individual and family and country, border and home front, it vividly interprets the spiritual context of the people's "working together as one" and the contemporary importance of "national defense".
In terms of presentation format, the program will break through the traditional performance model and integrate stage performances, location documentaries, technological restorations, on-site skill demonstrations and audience interaction. Through ingenious links such as real-shot links at memorial halls in multiple places, field reports by foreign correspondents, and blindfolded precision operations by craftsmen from great powers, we strive to promote national defense education in the minds and hearts of young people and technology-based expressions. The program also comprehensively uses cutting-edge technologies such as DNA identity screening and digital facial restoration to verify the identity information of heroes and martyrs, recreate historical battlefield scenes, and achieve deep integration of national defense education and modern technology.
In terms of the guest lineup, "Building National Defense Together" has both silver-haired narrators and youth relayers. There are mausoleum and border guards such as Li Aiyun, Wei Ping, Luo Jianguo, Zhou Jianmin, a "great country craftsman" with micron-level precision, as well as representatives of the "Seven Sons of National Defense" new era national defense youth representatives, as well as a group of national defense education propagandists such as recitation artist Chen Duo.
