In order to respond to the parking needs of residents around the baseball stadium in Hsinchu City and to cooperate with the completion of the overall improvement project of the baseball stadium, the testing of various equipment in the underground parking lot has been completed. Mayor Gao Hong Anjin led a city government team to inspect and understand the operation of parking routes, parking systems and other equipment at the entrance and exit of the underground parking lot at the baseball stadium, and announced the resumption of trial operation.

Gao Hongan pointed out that the underground parking lot of the baseball field will meet the different parking needs of local residents and events. It is expected to implement a flexible allocation mechanism of "daily cars and event motorcycles". It will provide 300 car parking spaces on weekdays, including 6 spaces each for people with disabilities, charging stations, and pregnant and parent-child parking spaces, to meet the daily needs of surrounding residents and the general public. Frequent parking needs; in the event of major baseball games or activities, the parking space will be flexibly adjusted to the motorcycle parking space according to the expected crowd size, and a maximum of 1,500 motorcycle parking spaces can be provided. This will relieve motorcycle traffic during the event, avoid congestion and illegal parking caused by influx into surrounding alleys, and maximize the effectiveness of the limited public space.

Gao Hongan said that in order to allow citizens and fans to familiarize themselves with the traffic routes in advance, the trial operation period will be from now until the 30th, and free parking will be fully open. The electric vehicle charging piles on site only charge charging fees and do not charge parking fees. The city government will also collect user feedback simultaneously as a reference for subsequent official operation improvements. When the stadium holds events in the future, the city government will also implement surrounding traffic diversion and movement control to take into account the convenience of watching games and the quality of life of local residents. We hope to maximize the benefits of public facilities through flexible scheduling and effectively alleviate the parking needs of surrounding neighbors and during future events.
