Formosa Plastics (1301), Nanya (1303), Formosa Chemical (1326), and Formosa Plastics (6505) announced September revenue today. Nanya ranked first with a monthly growth of 12.5%, setting a new high in the past 54 months. Formosa Plastics increased by 9.3% monthly and ranked second. Formosa Plastics and Formosa Plastics also saw a significant increase in monthly revenue growth in September.

Formosa Plastics' revenue in September was 15.018 billion yuan, a monthly growth of 7.3%. Formosa Plastics pointed out that in August, in line with Formosa Plastics' OL-3 annual maintenance schedule, four factories in Mailiao were scheduled for annual maintenance, and normal production resumed in September. The total sales volume of each major product increased by 70,000 tons compared with August, and revenue returned to the growth track.

Nanya's revenue in September was 34.42 billion yuan, a monthly growth of 12.5%, setting a new high in the past 54 months, mainly driven by electronic materials and chemical products. According to Nanya analysis, the demand for AI has driven a rapid increase in the demand for copper foil substrates, circuit boards, copper foil, fiberglass cloth and other materials. Under the requirements of high-speed transmission and ultra-low loss, material specifications have been upgraded at an unprecedented speed. On the market supply side, due to the greatly increased product precision and high production difficulty, even if middle and low-end production capacity has been significantly shifted to produce high-end materials, the supply and delivery time are still difficult to meet the overall demand, resulting in an extreme shortage of materials, and the price increase has also spread from high-end to all materials.

Taiwan Chemical's revenue in September was 33.4 billion yuan, a monthly increase of 9.3%, of which the volume difference increased by 580 million yuan and the selling price difference increased by 2.26 billion yuan. Taihua said that SM-3 resumed operation after the regular inspection, and production and sales increased by 350 million yuan. PTA, PS, ABS, and PP customers replenished inventory, and sales increased by 310 million yuan. As for Taihua Ningbo, due to PIA, PS, and ABS customers replenishing inventory, sales increased by 170 million yuan; residual oil production and sales were adjusted, and external sales increased by 160 million yuan; Taiwan acetic acid scheduled regular inspections in August, and production and sales increased by 170 million yuan in September.

Formosa Plastics' revenue in September was 86.928 billion yuan, a monthly increase of 6.1%. Formosa Plastics stated that its monthly ethylene production in September was 139,000 tons (capacity utilization rate 53%, 30 days), mainly due to the resumption of operation in September after the completion of regular inspections at the third olefin plant. Total product sales in September were 302,000 tons, an increase of 62,000 tons from 240,000 tons in the previous month.
