The College of Embodied Intelligent Industry jointly established by Dalian Institute of Technology and Yushu Technology was unveiled

China News Service, Dalian, September 8 (Reporter Yang Yi) The signing and unveiling ceremony of Yushu Embodied Intelligent Industry College of Dalian Institute of Technology was held at the school on the 7th. This is the first physical industry college in the Northeast region oriented to the embodied intelligent industry chain.

Currently, the artificial intelligence industry is accelerating its iterative upgrades, and the embodied intelligence and humanoid robot industries have become key future industries for the country. This in-depth connection between schools and enterprises aims to introduce the most cutting-edge industrial technologies and real-life scenarios to the campus, empower the transformation and upgrading of Liaoning Province’s “2211” industrial system, and cultivate new productivity.

According to the plan, Yushu College of Embodied Intelligent Industry will rely on the "Yushu Future Class" to connect the training chain of basic abilities, professional improvement, and innovation leadership. Both the school and the enterprise will co-construct courses, co-edit textbooks, and share teachers, and are committed to cultivating high-quality compound talents who are quick to learn and have high potential.

Yang Bin, President of Dalian Institute of Technology, said in his speech that Ushu Embodied Intelligent Industry College uses the industrial college as a carrier and relies on the "Ushu Future Class" to anchor precise education goals, focus on the empowerment of industry and research, deepen collaborative education, and base on regional development. The most cutting-edge industrial technology and real scenarios are introduced into the campus to cultivate high-quality compound talents who are quick to learn and have high potential, and strive to create a demonstration highland for embodied intelligent talent training and a benchmark for the integration of industry and education in the Northeast region.

Chen Li, co-founder of Yushu Technology, said in a video speech that the cooperation between the two parties will open up the talent training channel from the classroom to the industry and provide more high-quality application talents for the embodied intelligence industry.

Chen Li said that the Institute of Embodied Intelligent Industry can break the talent supply bottleneck by introducing real equipment and projects from enterprises into teaching, cultivating "ready-to-use" talents with both AI, robotics and engineering practice capabilities. At the same time, relying on the "Yushu Future Class" to achieve order-based training, establish a long-term mechanism of "co-construction, co-education, and co-employment", reduce corporate recruitment and retraining costs, and ensure that talents can "be employed immediately after graduation."

On the same day, witnessed by the participants, Shi Hua, Vice President of Dalian Institute of Technology, and He Yinjun, Deputy General Manager of Yushu Technology, respectively signed the "Co-construction Agreement of Yushu Embodied Intelligent Industry College". Yang Bin, president of Dalian Engineering College, and He Yinjun, deputy general manager of Yushu Technology, jointly unveiled the Industrial College. Guo Yuzhu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dalian Institute of Technology, issued a letter of appointment as a corporate mentor to Yushu Embodied Intelligent Industry College, injecting the power of corporate think tanks into the construction of the industrial college.
