The main suspect in the Shuiyuan Road shooting case in Taipei City was arrested and confessed that he was instigated by his boyfriend to commit the murder.

A woman surnamed Zhao was shot on Shuiyuan Road in Taipei City. With the arrest of the female gunman surnamed Yi today, many details of the case have become clear. He confessed everything from pre-planning, purchasing guns online, testing guns in Tainan, on-site execution, and escape routes.

Police investigation revealed that Yi Nu, who originally lived alone, mistakenly believed that she was wanted for drunk driving, so she lived in seclusion. Later, she met Chen Nan in an online chat room, and the two developed a relationship between boyfriend and girlfriend. They then lived together in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, with Chen Nan providing financial support.

Yi Nv testified that Chen Nan often complained that after his wife surnamed Zhao returned to Taiwan from China a month ago, she would rather work in a snack bar than help his waterproofing engineering business. She even kicked him out of the house and prevented Chen Nan from visiting his children. As a result, he became resentful and planned to kill his wife.

Yi testified that Chen Nan repeatedly said that it was not convenient for him to come forward. After purchasing the firearm online, he took Yi Nu to a shooting range in Tainan to practice live ammunition shooting in March. Five days before the crime, they even stayed at Zhao Nu's residence and work place to inform each other.

She said that yesterday, the two of them squatted until Ms. Zhao returned to her residence from where she worked, and then she fired at Ms. Zhao. One shot hit her and the other shot jammed. Then Chen Nan took over and fled according to the drill. After the police interrogation, the two people will be transferred to justice on suspicion of gunfire and homicide.
