The South African-based media "Swaziland News" reported on the 13th that our ambassador to the Kingdom of Eswatini, Liang Hongsheng, was suspected of lobbying the country's parliamentarians to remove the country's Prime Minister Russell Dlamini through a vote of no confidence. In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today (16th) that this accusation was fabricated out of thin air and had no factual basis. It also criticized "Swaziland News" for "collaborating" with China, systematically targeting the Swaziland government and the Chinese Embassy in Swaziland for a long time, and spreading false and untrue information.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized the media for disregarding its journalism expertise and becoming a tool of China, with obvious intentions to undermine mutual trust and friendship between Taiwan and history. Its editor-in-chief Zweli Martin Dlamini was only invited to visit China in mid-May this year and met with Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun, which shows that the "collaborative" relationship between the media and China is self-evident.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that on the eve of President Lai Ching-te's visit to Taiwan this year, the media accused China's Ambassador to Taiwan Liang Hongsheng of being involved in multiple corruption cases, and used false information to attack the diplomatic actions of the Chinese government. Recently, as the friendship between Taiwan and Taiwan has deepened after President Lai Ching-te's visit to Taiwan, it has continued to use false reports to attempt to divide the relationship between the two countries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has repeatedly categorically refuted and condemned it. There have been frequent and close high-level exchanges between Taiwan and history. The bilateral relations are based on mutual trust and mutual respect for sovereignty, and the friendship is harmonious and stable. The accusation made by "Swaziland News" is still fabricated out of thin air and has no factual basis. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again strongly condemned it.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strongest condemnation of China's malicious and non-stop denigration of our cooperative relations with friendly countries through certain media and information channels in an attempt to undermine the international community's trust in Taiwan's diplomatic work. He also called on the Chinese people not to be misled and divided by biased and groundless media reports, which may inadvertently become a communication channel for certain forces to engage in cognitive warfare. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also calls on all walks of life to seriously face up to and jointly condemn China's false information supply chain, which is disguised as a guise of press and freedom of speech but actually conducts bad actions that harm the democratic and free system and violate journalistic ethics.
