He said that Russia has outlined “the boundaries of what it wants to achieve,” but Ukraine does not agree to these terms, so a peace deal has not yet been agreed upon.

“Our job as facilitators is to understand how we can come up with a creative solution that is consistent with their wishes and helps them achieve their goal,” Kushner said.
