Guangxi consolidates quality infrastructure to provide guarantee for China-ASEAN cross-border trade

At the same time, Guangxi has innovated the "AI + quality supervision" model, continuously improved the efficiency of industrial products, special equipment, and port supervision, and provided solid technical support for China-ASEAN cross-border trade.

A press conference on Guangxi’s implementation of the quality-strengthening strategy in 2026 was held in Nanning City on the same day. Zhang Zhiwen introduced at the meeting that Guangxi is responsible for promoting the pilot task of promoting quality infrastructure interconnection for ASEAN, insisting on the construction of a strong quality Guangxi as a basic and long-term task, taking the lead in setting up a provincial-level special fund for quality development with a scale of 260 million yuan, innovatively building an ASEAN national standardization cooperation and exchange center, and promoting the construction of strong quality enterprises, strong quality chains, strong quality counties, and strong quality parks.

At the same time, Guangxi insists on cultivating, setting standards and leading the "three-in-one" advancement, cultivating 5,288 chief quality officers, improving the product life cycle traceability mechanism, and continuously improving the quality of products, projects and services. At present, Guangxi ranks first in the country in terms of the number of low-carbon certifications and Hong Kong high-quality "authentic" seals it has obtained, which has become an excellent pass for "Guihao" products to go out of Guangxi and sell well in ASEAN.

In order to enhance the competitiveness of industrial development, Guangxi has implemented a quality map to lead the high-quality industrial development project and promote the transformation of the industrial chain into high-end, intelligent and green. Guangxi has accelerated the development and implementation of artificial intelligence standards for ASEAN, helping local companies such as Maiyue Technology and Runjian Co., Ltd. to deploy various application scenarios, and their business covers many ASEAN countries.

Guangxi also implements the strategy of "pilot, innovation and promotion" to create a "one county, one characteristic" pattern and strengthen the development of county-specific industries with "standards + certification + geographical indications". Affected by Typhoon Maysak this year, the jasmine industry in Hengzhou, Guangxi was severely affected. Guangxi opened a green channel for post-disaster quality services and implemented the "quality disaster prevention, technology loss stop, and standard production stabilization" model to help business entities quickly resume production.

In order to build a strong position in quality, Guangxi has promoted quality upgrades in 120 industrial parks and built 165 "one-stop" service platforms for quality infrastructure, pushing the industry toward refinement and internationalization, and deeply embedding itself in domestic and ASEAN high-end supply chains.

Li Xuan, deputy director of the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said that in the next step, Guangxi will establish and improve the "Gui Zi Hao" standard system, improve the modern commercial circulation system, thoroughly implement the "Gui Zi Hao - Guangxi Brand Worldwide" action, empower quality supervision with digital intelligence, and turn resource and product advantages into quality and brand competitive advantages.

Nong Yan, the second-level inspector of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said that Guangxi has drafted the "Guangxi "Good House" Construction Implementation Plan, which will improve the technical guidance on living quality and respond to the people's expectations for "good housing."
