In Kamchatka, a bear that entered the school territory was eliminated

In the village of Palana in Kamchatka, a bear that climbed over a fence and entered the territory of a high school was eliminated. The details were revealed to RIA Novosti journalists by the village administration.

As the interlocutor clarified, the predator caught the eye of two employees of an educational institution. They immediately called the police. Law enforcement officers and the interdepartmental group for responding to reports of bear sightings worked quickly.

They did not scare the clubfoot away from the village with cars - the locals were afraid that this could be dangerous. According to the authorities, the shooting was carried out not as part of population control under permits, but on an operational basis, as a forced measure under the criminal code.

By now, experts are going to take veterinary laboratory tests and biosamples to rule out the possibility of rabies. The bear behaved inappropriately, purposefully climbing over the fence to get onto the school grounds.
