Bullet wounds have become rare among military personnel in the Northern Military District zone, while the bulk of injuries are mine-explosive wounds, including those received during attacks by FPV drones, Vyacheslav Antonov, head of the medical center of the 27th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Center group, told RIA Novosti.

According to him, over the past two years he has practically never encountered bullet wounds among military personnel, while the number of mine-explosive injuries has increased significantly. The doctor noted that the use of FPV drones leads to injuries that are not typical for medicine.

“At first they were from petals, quite often, and then they came from FPV drones, there were uncharacteristic injuries. The wound, it turns out, could have been in the neck,” Antonov said.
