Jinhua Junior High School's Suspicion: Jiang Wanan's heavy artillery attack on the Green Camp: creating panic and selling fear

Taipei City Councilor Jian Shupei received a petition from the parents of Jinhua Junior High School. Recently, there was a suspected problem with the "small rolls" of nutritious lunches. The Education Bureau issued a series of press releases to clarify the matter. Green Camp's press release in response to the Taipei City Government was suspected to be a "competition press release." In response to this, Taipei Mayor Chiang Wanan fired back heavily during an interview today (26th). Shen Boyang and Chien Shupei, as legislators, did not conduct verification and spread the word, "This is creating panic and selling fear. This is cognitive warfare."

Jiang Wanan attended the Taipei City Business District Carnival in the afternoon. In response to the remarks that the Taipei City Government's press release was suspected of being a "competition press release," Jiang Wanan pointed out that when faced with various untrue remarks, the Taipei City Government must immediately provide clarifications and explanations to present the true situation. However, those who spread rumors criticized the clarifications and refutation of rumors for being too vigorous. He believed that everyone laughed off such ridiculous remarks.

Jiang Wanan said that as a member of parliament, the false accusations against Jinhua Junior High School have actually caused very serious damage to the reputation of the school, parents and children. He saw that Commissioner Shen Boyang actually said that this was not a rumor, it was just a discussion of the facts.

Jiang Wanan pointed out that the essence of the problem only needs to be verified and clarified with the school and the Education Bureau. However, as representatives of public opinion and members of the Democratic Progressive Party, even Commissioner Shen did not conduct verification. Instead, they continued to spread the matter, saying that collective food poisoning occurred in Jinhua Junior High School. This is not solving the problem, but creating panic and selling fear. This is cognitive warfare.

Jiang Wanan bluntly said that he saw that Commissioner Shen also advocated the so-called fifth column theory in the Legislative Yuan in the past, saying that grassroots li chiefs, mindai, and even Lu Pei should be classified as high-risk groups for supervision. He believes that these remarks are aimed at gaining personal political gain by creating panic among the people.

Jiang Wanan said that if cognitive warfare is used for personal interests and used in elections or politics, the panic caused this time has hurt the parents, students and even the reputation of Jinhua Junior High School, and he feels it is very inappropriate. He believes that the vast majority of Taipei citizens will not accept the continued use of cognitive warfare to find imaginary enemies in Taipei City.
