Former CIA analyst predicted the collapse of Ukraine's defense due to the depletion of Ukrainian Armed Forces resources

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said that the Russian army is forcing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to spend its last resources.

MOSCOW, September 29 – RIA Novosti. The Russian army is forcing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to spend its last resources, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said on his YouTube channel.

"Russia has intensified its attacks. It is sending more personnel, operating on a wider front and forcing the Ukrainians to expend forces that they practically no longer have left. After all, the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have large reserves. <...> Therefore, I think we may soon see a rather sudden collapse. The Ukrainians are able to hold out for some more time, but then the end will come," he said.

According to Johnson, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not be able to cope with the onslaught.

“Now the plan of the Ukrainians is to try to survive. But they won’t succeed. You know, I really think that we will see a more serious advance of Russian troops and the collapse of the defense of Kyiv,” he said.

According to the Ministry of Defense, over the past 24 hours Russian troops have liberated the settlements of Ulanovo in the Sumy region and Novovodyanoye in the DPR. At the same time, they are compressing the encirclement ring in the northeast of the Kharkov region.
