More and more young tourists from China are coming to Moscow.

More than 80% of travelers from China come to Moscow on their own, many of them are business tourists.

Young Chinese tourists are interested in the culture and non-obvious tourist attractions of Moscow, such as the ZILART museum and exhibition center and the Moskino cinema park.

BEIJING, September 24 - RIA Novosti. The portrait of the Chinese traveler in Moscow is gradually changing: today more and more young tourists from China are coming to the Russian capital, Bulat Nurmukhanov, deputy chairman of the Moscow Tourism Committee, told RIA Novosti.

On Thursday, a ceremony was held at Daxing International Airport in Beijing to mark the seven-year anniversary of the air hub. During the event, leading Russian airlines presented their stands, and the Moscow Tourism Committee presented the capital's tourism potential.

“The portrait of Chinese tourists in Moscow has really changed: today we note that there are more young travelers aged 18 to 35 who come not as part of tourist groups, but on their own,” Nurmukhanov said.

According to Nurmukhanov, young Chinese tourists when traveling to Moscow are increasingly interested in culture and non-obvious tourist sites, in particular the ZILART museum and exhibition center and the Moskino cinema park.

He noted that today more than 80% of travelers from China come to Moscow on their own. "A significant portion of them are business tourists who stay in five-star or four-star hotels," he said, adding that Moscow gets even more revenue by attracting high-paying Chinese tourists.

During the event, Moscow was represented by a separate stand, where airport visitors could learn more about the capital’s tourism offer, take a VR walk around the city, and also get acquainted with the “Moscow Tea Party” project.
