Lavrov predicted a quick change of political elites in Europe

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has no doubt that some Western politicians, who “by the will of fate” ended up in their places, will soon “be washed away from this peak.”

“I can’t get inside these political characters who, by the will of fate, ended up on the surface of European politics. But the fact that at some point, hopefully not very distant, they will be washed away from this pinnacle of European politics and yet the people of Europe will make the right choice, I honestly don’t have any big doubts,” Lavrov told Vesti author Pavel Zarubin.

The other question, according to the minister, is when this will happen.

“But I think we won’t have to wait very long,” Lavrov added.

Speaking about German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Lavrov noted that his statements about the militarization of Germany are becoming reality.
