Ko Wenzhe sweeps the streets at Pingtung Night Market to solicit votes, boosting the People's Party's election sentiment

Ko Wenzhe, the former chairman of the Taiwan People's Party, went south to sweep the streets at the Pingtung National Night Market tonight. Ke Wenzhe said that the people in Pingtung are very enthusiastic and the temperature is 5 degrees higher than in Taipei. He hopes that Pingtung can hit a home run. This is his humble goal.

Ko Wenzhe went to Pingtung City's National Night Market at around 6 o'clock tonight to sweep the streets and collect votes, and distributed literature about county council candidate Lin Yuxian and city representative Guo Tai'an. The public responded enthusiastically, and many people took photos with Ke Wenzhe. Due to the large number of people accompanying him, it also caused a small traffic jam at the night market. After praying for votes, Ke Wenzhe also dined at the National Night Market and praised the snacks at the night market.

The Taiwan People's Party has nominated only three candidates for the 2026 election, namely Lin Yuxian, county councilor for the first district of Pingtung County, Guo Tai'an, citizen representative of North District, Pingtung City, and Lin Yaozong, who is seeking re-election as Chaozhou town representative.
