A man, threatening with a weapon, committed violent acts against a woman in the Moscow region; his actions were stopped by members of the Russian Guard, and a criminal case was opened, the press service of the Moscow region headquarters of the Russian Guard reported.

The department said that a resident of Beloozersky, who was on the patrol route, contacted the Russian Guard crew and reported that in the area of ​​Molodezhnaya Street, an unknown person, threatening with a weapon, was forcibly taking a woman into the forest.

“The law enforcement officers immediately followed the indicated landmarks. During a well-organized patrol, the National Guard discovered an attacker who committed violent acts against a woman,” the press service said.

The Russian Guard added that at the sight of law enforcement officers, the attacker tried to escape, but was detained - he turned out to be a 35-year-old native of one of the neighboring countries, who had an air pistol with him.
