The version of the escape by helicopter of the Usoltsevs who disappeared in the taiga has been ruled out. A flight in the area where the family disappeared would not have gone unnoticed by local residents, said Honored First Class Air Traffic Controller Olga Komissarova, RIA Novosti writes.

Helicopters rarely fly in this area in the Krasnoyarsk Territory; the sound of takeoff would not go unnoticed by the local population, the expert noted.

“I think not a single pilot will lose his license for violating airspace by flying without an application. Whether there was an application or not can only be verified officially,” Komissarova also emphasized.

Based on this, the version of the Usoltsevs escaping by helicopter is excluded. This would be impossible, the expert added.

Irina and Sergey Usoltsev, along with their daughter, disappeared at the end of September 2025 in the Partizansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. It later became known that the family made three stops during the route. At one of them, the Usoltsevs purchased a knife from a roadside store.
