Valencia fans protest against the board and the team's poor performance

Valencia fans are fed up with the sporting and financial situation that one of the most important clubs in Spain is going through. This was evidenced by a group of followers of the Valencian team, who met this Saturday at one of the gates of Mestalla to prevent the departure of the board.

The fans moved to the door of the stadium box once the match was over and staged a protest in which chants were heard against the players and the club's management, including "mercenary players", "you are not going to come out", "the captains where are they" and "tell them to get the hell out".

The protest occurred on a day especially marked by the presence at Mestalla of the president of Valencia, Kiat Lim, who witnessed his first League match in the stadium since he assumed the presidency of the club in March 2025.

The leader, son of the main shareholder Peter Lim, landed this Sunday in Valencia and later attended the match against Barcelona. Kiat Lim was greeted with a loud whistle from the entire stadium in an atmosphere of growing discomfort between the Valencian fans over the sporting situation and the management of the entity.

In addition, groups such as Curva Nord and Libertad VCF made a call to empty Mestalla until the 19th minute, but only the Animation Stand remained, practically in its entirety, empty until said minute, a nod to the year of creation of the club, which was 1919.

The rest of the fans chose to protest from within. The players and Carlos Corberán were whistled at the start of the match and the chants of "out, out" and "Peter, go now" were directed to the box and, when the Curva Nord entered, it did so with the chant of "Peter Lim, son of a bitch."

The defeat against Barcelona leaves Valencia at the bottom of LaLiga after four days, with only one point added, one goal for and nine against. The Valencian team has yet to win this season and has only scored in one of its four league games.
