China News Service, Jiaxing, October 30 (Hu Fengsheng) From November 2 to 5, during the Wuzhen Summit of the 2026 World Internet Conference, the "AI Wuzhen Science and Technology Innovation Tongxiang" theme experience exhibition will showcase the innovative achievements of the "Wuzhen Seven Sons" to the world. Shangyuan Zhixing, Xinshengji Intelligent, Shuhan Technology, Senad, Dayan Technology, Freetek, Xinhan Intelligent - in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, seven companies with different tracks are strung together around the main line of artificial intelligence to form a complete industrial closed loop from underlying computing power dissipation, simulation data, industrial brains, to embodied robots, intelligent chassis, and intelligent vehicle driving.
This means: Hangzhou’s “Six Little Dragons” have written legends on Zhejiang’s science and technology innovation map, and Tongxiang has finally ushered in its own “AI team.” Through this chain, what we can see is the pioneering spirit of a Jiangnan water town in the era of traditional industries, which is being rekindled in the era of artificial intelligence.

Why these seven?
"Wuzhen Seven Sons" is an industry label sorted out by local entrepreneurs, investors and industry observers based on the track distribution and collaborative relationships of the seven companies.
At the front end of the chain, Xinhan Intelligent is a "cooler" for AI computing power. The power consumption of high-power computing chips has skyrocketed, and traditional air cooling can no longer handle the heat of high-density computing power. Once overheated, expensive computing power will be de-frequencyed and lost. This company founded by a master's and doctoral team from Zhejiang University focuses on two-phase phase change liquid cooling, which relies on liquid vaporization to remove a huge amount of heat and ensure stable computing power output.
After the computing power stabilizes, AI needs high-quality data training. Dayan Technology uses 4D world reconstruction and controllable diffusion models, paired with the Shadow Gauntlet, China's first force-touch interactive glove, to allow robots to "touch" the real world.
Intelligence has stepped out of the simulation environment, and Senad is aiming at the "last 20 meters" loading and unloading problem of logistics. Its autonomous loading and unloading robot can carry up to 80 kilograms per hour and handle thousands of boxes of goods per hour. It has been deployed in tobacco, alcohol, medicine, FMCG, logistics and other leading companies. Cenozoic Intelligence has entered commercial cleaning, relying on physical AI integrated with 3D lidar and vision to enter more than 40 countries and regions around the world. More than 100 units are in operation at Singapore Changi Airport all year round, and 600 units are deployed by Tesco in the UK.
Going forward, Shuhan Technology has connected large-scale control models to chemical, environmental protection, and energy production lines to independently predict working conditions and adjust process parameters; Shangyuan Zhixing is deeply involved in medium and low-speed unmanned skateboard chassis, and the cumulative driving mileage of L4-level unmanned vehicles has reached 100 million kilometers, and it has been implemented globally. More than 300 cities in the country; Freetech has developed a full-stack self-developed ODIN smart driving platform for both smart driving scenarios of passenger cars and commercial vehicles. It has established cooperation with 55 OEMs, won a total of 432 designated projects, and promoted more than 300 projects to achieve mass production.
The common feature of the seven companies is not that the technical concepts are fashionable, but that they solve hard problems in real working conditions. After Shuhan's AI control system was integrated into the coal chemical workshop, raw coal consumption was reduced by 6%, and the annual comprehensive benefit was increased by approximately 170 million yuan. This quality of "the examination room is on the production line" is exactly the underlying logic behind Tongxiang's selection of them: AI is not a scenery on the exhibition stand, but something that can be used in the workshop, at the entrance of the carriage, and on the road.
Tongxiang’s expectations
Tongxiang’s expectation for the “Seven Wuzhen Sons” is not to make them display samples during the summit, but to make them the seven anchor points of an industrial chain that can grow on its own.
As the main person in charge of the Tongxiang Municipal Party Committee revealed, as a pilot national data industry cluster in 2026, Wuzhen Big Data High-tech Industrial Park has gathered 369 digital economy enterprises, and has jointly built a Wuzhen Cooperation Center with the Shanghai Data Exchange. The number of national high-tech enterprises has increased 10 times compared with 2014.
Behind the numbers is a clear idea: the traffic brought by the summit must be accumulated into industry increments.
So, how do dividends translate? Tongxiang's approach is to use a main axis and a set of mechanisms. The science and innovation axis with Wuzhen Avenue as the main axis is 28 kilometers long and gathers more than 60% of Tongxiang's high-level talents and hundreds of high-tech enterprises. During the summit, the "Wuzhen Cup", "Wuzhen Roadshow" and "Direct to Wuzhen" series of events continued all year round, forming a closed loop of "summit diversion-event docking-project implementation-industry empowerment", and "participants" thus became "landed makers". Freetech is the most intuitive sample: in 2016, Chairman Zhang Lin walked into the Wuzhen Summit venue for the first time and settled the company in Wuzhen after the meeting; in 2025, the company's revenue will reach 2.28 billion yuan, ranking first in the country in its segmented fields.
A deeper level of expectation lies in the intersection between traditional industries and AI. Tongxiang's textile, chemical fiber, glass fiber, and chemical industries are considered "old kinetic energy" by some people, but are considered by AI companies to be the rarest "real examination room." Shuhan Technology's algorithms learn from the experience of old masters in chemical workshops, Senad turns the data flywheel in the dense logistics scene of the Yangtze River Delta, and Dayan Technology's tactile gloves are only 0.5 mm at their thinnest point. This sewing process problem can be solved by connecting with local textile industry resources and using the industry's "embroidery technology" solution. What Tongxiang wants is to allow traditional industries to pose questions, AI to answer questions in real working conditions, and then return to the production line after model iteration - forming an industrial ecology of "technology finds scenarios, scenarios provide long data, and data feeds back models".
“Supercomputing + Intelligent Computing”
The closed-loop operation of the AI industry is inseparable from the support of computing power base and supporting platform. Tongxiang has built a "supercomputing + intelligent computing" dual-engine drive system: the "Light of Wuzhen" supercomputing center has a computing power of 181.9Pflops, and the first phase of China Unicom's Wuzhen Intelligent Computing Center has been completed, and is accelerating towards a 10,000-ka cluster with a computing power of more than 5,000P in 2027. The relevant person in charge of the Tongxiang Economic and Information Bureau said that Tongxiang is the first among county-level cities in the country to build a computing power system supported by the "Light of Wuzhen" national supercomputing center and China Unicom Intelligent Computing Center, allowing flowing computing power to unleash the vitality of the digital economy.
Wuzhen Laboratory is filling in at the front end of the innovation chain. Tongxiang, led by Wuzhen Laboratory, has built an innovation system covering more than 10 new R&D institutions. The laboratory has implemented 17 talent projects and 46 industrialization projects. Even more down-to-earth is equipment sharing: equipment with a total value of more than 100 million yuan is open to companies around the clock, and a new materials company can complete 25 testing projects with only 35,000 yuan a year. The "Research Value Alliance" allows enterprises to propose questions and the alliance to solve problems has gathered more than 400 scientific researchers and solved more than 80 technical problems. These supporting facilities are not obvious, but they determine whether a company can move from drawings to production lines and from production lines to market.
From "not producing a drop of oil but becoming the highland of the world's chemical fiber industry" to "not being near the border or the sea but growing an AI team", Tongxiang's enterprising approach has been consistent: not waiting for the conditions to be complete, but finding the chain that can close the loop in the existing industrial soil, and then using computing power, scenarios, platforms and policies to cultivate it inch by inch. The formation of the "Seven Sons of Wuzhen" chain is not the end point, but a staged answer for a county economy in the era of artificial intelligence - the energy to venture and try in the traditional industrial era is growing again between computing power and workshops.
