KMT New Taipei City mayoral candidate Li Sichuan attended the Changhua Hometown Association membership meeting in Banqiao District, New Taipei City last night. Nearly 700 people attended. As soon as Li Sichuan arrived, he was surrounded by enthusiastic villagers. He was cheered along the way. Li also frequently stopped to take photos. Some villagers wore support T-shirts "Stand up for Sichuan" and held flags in support. Hong Jingzi, president of the World Changhua Hometown Association, took the lead in shouting "New Taipei Changhua Hometown Association, we only support Li Sichuan", and the atmosphere was boiling.

Accompanied by President Hong Jingzi and Chairman Huang Xinming of the New Taipei City Banqiao District Changhua Hometown Association, Li Sichuan greeted the guests one by one. When Li Sichuan delivered his speech, his throat was obviously hoarse due to the hard schedule for many days. He still thanked everyone for their support. He said that when he saw the enthusiasm and support of the villagers, his energy immediately became a hundred times higher. Regarding the future construction of Banqiao, he said that in the future, in addition to taking over as New Taipei Mayor Hou Youyi and completing the "New Taipei Arena", he will also promote the renovation and upgrade of the Banqiao Stadium and build it into the "New Taipei Arena" to let the world see New Taipei.

He said that in the future, he will promote the construction of the "Lushe Bridge" to connect Taipei City's Nangang Software Park, Neihu Science and Technology Park, Beitou Shilin Science and Technology Park and other high-tech industrial momentum across the river to New Taipei Luzhou and Wugu. It will also combine the Provincial Highway 64 and Provincial Line 65 express roads and rail transportation to connect Banqiao, Tucheng and Xindian to create an "AI technology industry corridor" to drive the entry of technology industries and create more employment opportunities for New Taipei youth.

In the evening, Li Sichuan also attended the handover ceremony of the 52nd and 53rd North District Presidents of the International Kiwanis Club of Taiwan and the handover ceremony of the 34th and 35th Yonghe Club Presidents and the inauguration ceremony of the Board of Supervisors. He received enthusiastic support from the villagers. He promised that as mayor in the future, he will realize the vision of "Having the Dome City in the South and the Science City in the North", driving the overall development of New Taipei City with dual cores, and creating more local employment opportunities in New Taipei City.
