New constitution statement from AK Party's Yayman

Yayman attended the Press Meeting program organized by the AK Party Mersin Provincial Directorate at Suphi Öner Teacher's House within the scope of the Türkiye Century Meetings.

Speaking here, Yayman said that the AK Party came to this point by struggling with crises.

Evaluating the fund issue, Yayman continued his speech as follows: "As our President said, we will overcome this because the AK Party was founded with the '3 Y's". Fighting the bans has achieved silent revolutions. Fighting poverty has brought the national income per capita in Türkiye to 20 thousand dollars. Is it enough? It is not enough. Hopefully, we need to increase it to 30 thousand dollars. It was established to fight corruption. The AK Party still has the values it had when it was founded. It has more values today. "No one should doubt this. Therefore, in the words of our President, we will not walk with those who confuse what is halal with what is haram. We will not walk with those who put their own ego, their own personal fortune and their own career above our party, the People's Alliance and our cause."

Yayman stated that no one has the right to tarnish the cause of the AK Party, which will be an example and role model to the world, the region and the Islamic world, and emphasized that they never allowed their cause to be tarnished.

Stating that the AK Party does politics on the field, not at the table, Yayman said that their party has implemented many important projects since its establishment.

"WE NEED TO MAKE A POLITICAL PARTIES LAW"

Pointing out that one of the most important issues in Türkiye today is the making of a new constitution, Yayman continued as follows:

"Time, the world, the sociology of politics and the conditions have changed. Today, there are 196 political parties in Türkiye. There is an inflation of political parties, so to speak. Therefore, we need to make a law on political parties. The issue of financing politics is one of the most talked about and discussed issues in Turkish politics. We must definitely address the issue of financing politics. Here we see the discussions we are experiencing. We need to reconsider the election law in accordance with the changing conditions and, depending on all these, the software of Türkiye and the software of the state." "We need to update it. If the 21st century is going to be Türkiye's century and we are going to make Türkiye one of the top 10 countries in the world, it is very difficult for us to continue with this Constitution. We need a new civil, democratic constitution."

Yayman stated that they know the problems of retirees, low-income people, workers, farmers, citrus producers and housewives.

Emphasizing that they will make Türkiye a global state in the second 25 years, Yayman said, "We will make Türkiye one of the 10 most developed countries in the world. Do not doubt this. Turkey is in a very good place compared to yesterday. It will be in a much better place tomorrow. We are optimistic about Türkiye, our nation and our future." he said.

Yayman stated that various programs will be held in the city within the scope of the Türkiye Century program and that they will identify the problems of tradesmen and citizens within the scope of the programs and convey them to the headquarters.

AK Party Mersin Deputy Nureddin Nebati stated that they demonstrated the presence of the AK Party all over Türkiye and communicated strongly with the society.

AK Party Mersin Provincial Chairman Adem Aldemir noted that as the Mersin organization, they raised their families in the city with 16 thousand 800 new members this year and continued their blessed march by gaining strength.
