Fatma Zehra Önen, Daughter of AK Party Şanlıurfa Deputy, Lost Her Struggle for Life

Fatma Zehra Önen (23), daughter of AK Party Şanlıurfa Deputy Abdülkadir Emin Önen, fell ill after the operation she had last year and was treated in the hospital. Önen, who was last followed in intensive care, lost his fight for life.

Fatma Zehra Önen was sent off to her final journey with the funeral prayer performed at Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque today. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also attended the funeral prayer.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke after the funeral prayer and expressed his feelings with the following words:

He really suffered a lot during this illness. May God make this ordeal a means to forgive his negligence in the eternal world. May his rank be exalted, may my Lord be his friend and helper. We already know the family. As far as we know, Fatma Zehra is true to her name; May the owner of the place accept our daughter, who is perfect with this name.
