An indictment against a 59-year-old woman for sexually abusing her son and selling pornographic materials

The District Prosecutor's Office in Rzeszów accused a 59-year-old resident of Podkarpacie of long-term sexual abuse of her son under 15 years of age and of selling photos and films documenting these crimes. Six of her partners will appear in court with her.

Behind the scenes of the macabre procedure

The crimes were allegedly committed systematically from October 2020 to June 2024.

According to officers of the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime, the woman sent photos and videos to users of one of the websites documenting her sexual contacts with her minor son.

In June 2024, she was detained and temporarily arrested.

A permanent source of income

The District Prosecutor's Office in Rzeszów has no doubts about the scale and brutality of the crimes.

According to prosecutors, the accused repeatedly committed rapes and other sexual acts against her child. She meticulously recorded everything in the form of photos and videos, and then passed them on to persons identified during the investigation for a fee - said the spokesman of the prosecutor's office, prosecutor Krzysztof Ciechanowski.

He also added that the woman turned this practice into a permanent source of income.

A total of 14 people from various regions of the country were charged during the investigation. In addition to the woman, 13 men were detained. All of them will be charged with possessing pornographic content involving minors, and nine of them will also be charged with inciting a woman to sexually abuse her son. Most of the suspects were placed under temporary arrest.

Seven have already been convicted

Seven detainees pleaded guilty and voluntarily submitted to punishment. On February 9, 2026, the District Court in Rzeszów sentenced them to terms ranging from six months of imprisonment, suspended for two years, to two years and 10 months of absolute imprisonment.

Additionally, long-term bans on working with children and cash benefits ranging from PLN 10,000 to PLN 30,000 were imposed.

Trial before the court in Rzeszów

The indictment against the 59-year-old woman and six men who did not decide to voluntarily submit to punishment was sent to the District Court in Rzeszów on August 5. The accused are between 30 and 50 years old and come from various parts of the country, including: from the counties of Nowy Sącz, Kolno, Leżajsk, Poznań, Racibórz and Stalowowolski.
