Alessandro Di Battista underwent surgery to remove a tumor. This was declared on Di Tuesday, on La7, by the former member of the 5 Star Movement himself. "Every day I regain some space of freedom", he said, explaining that in Cuba "I started to feel ill due to a cerebral edema due to the presence of a tumor that was found in me", and that the doctors "immediately got the treatment right which reduced the edema allowing me to operate, they removed almost all of the tumor. Now I will do the treatment hoping that it works. I am part of that club of Italian citizens who say 'why me". Di Battista then added: "This plague of the 21st century has an advantage: it is democratic. I am not one of those who says I will make it, I have to undergo treatment and have a positive attitude. The ones who must not give up are the doctors".

"Unworthy controversy, Meloni and the government behaved well"

Regarding his possible return to politics, Di Battista remained cautious: "Am I the Vannacci of the centre-left? The broad camp is weak - he said - how does the Democratic Party expect to win the elections if it actually has the same position on Ukraine as Meloni? I don't know, at the moment I don't see the broad camp clearly. What if I will run?
