10 suspects were detained and 8 were arrested after an armed fight in the market place in Keçiören, Ankara.

Following the armed fight that took place in the marketplace in Ankara, 10 suspects were detained in operations against two separate criminal organizations. 8 of the suspects who were referred to the courthouse were arrested on charges of 'arms dealing, drug dealing and attempted murder'.

According to the news in DHA; Following the armed fight incident that took place in the market place in Ankara's Keçiören district, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Duty Bureau launched an investigation. Ankara Police Department teams carried out an investigation against the suspects who used weapons, caused hits to the vehicle and deliberately endangered general security.

In the security camera footage, it was seen that a group arrived at the scene with a vehicle, fled after opening fire, and was chased by the other group with a vehicle. The car, which was detected to have come to the scene before the incident, was caught and towed to the parking lot.

3 GUNS AND 2 THOUSAND PILLS WERE SEIZED

4 suspects in the car were identified and detained in the house where they were hiding, with the support of the special operations police.

Additionally, 3 separate unlicensed guns were seized during the search at the house. The suspects in the other group were identified one by one and taken into custody by Ankara Keçiören Police Department teams.

Approximately 2 thousand synthetic drug pills were seized during the searches at the addresses. It was understood that one of the detained suspects was wanted for 10 years and the other was wanted for 4 years.

8 SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED

Among the 10 suspects detained as a result of the operations, H.Y., B.A., E.G., S.S., A.E., F.G., E.Ş. and M.T. were arrested for 'arms dealing, drug dealing and attempted murder'. The casings and weapons found at the scene were sent to criminal investigation for ballistic examination and comparison.
