14 OCTOBER EXPECTATION FOR THE BRIGADE

One of the most striking headlines in transfer traffic is the expectations regarding Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay. For the possible participation of the Brigade, all eyes are on the AKP group meeting expected to be held on October 14.

It is stated that Tugay, who continued his duty independently after leaving the CHP, will join the party at the AKP group meeting expected to be held on October 14, and his badge will be worn by AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Tugay met with Erdoğan at the Palace on September 30. While sharing photos from the meeting, Tugay announced that he conveyed the issues on Izmir's agenda and his projects for the future of the city to Erdoğan. Tugay, who previously rejected the allegations that he would switch to AKP, said in his statement in July, "I have no such thoughts, the votes of the people of Izmir are entrusted to me."

It is stated that Cemil Tugay will not make a new statement regarding the latest transition allegations. If Tugay's participation is realized, AKP will have reached the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayorship, which it could not win in the elections, through transfer. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will be governed by the AKP for the first time in history.
