They rescued a goat trapped in a forest fire in Antalya by carrying it on their backs.

In Antalya's Serik district, Feyzi Fırat Aksay (11) and his cousin Furkan Aslan (12) carried the goat, which had difficulty walking amidst the flames of the forest fire, on their backs to a safe area. Feyzi Fırat Aksay said, "We went to graze our animals. He got sick. His name is 'Sarıkız'. I hugged him and carried him. I love him very much." Furkan Aslan said, "Fırat picked him up, hugged him, and I helped him put him on his back. First Fırat carried him, then I carried him."

The simultaneous forest fires that broke out the previous day in Yemişlitahta, Hacıveliler and Çiftlik locations of Sarıabalı District of Serik district were taken under control after approximately 9 hours. According to initial findings, 6 houses, 1 of which was empty, were burned in the fire, which partially spread to Deniztepesi District as well as Sarıabalı. Many plastic greenhouses and agricultural lands were also affected by the fire. While an evacuation decision was made for the settlements threatened by the fire, citizens were removed from the area with their animals.

Feyzi Fırat Aksay and his cousin Furkan Aslan came to the rescue of the goat, which had difficulty walking in the middle of the fire. While the two cousins ​​were taking turns carrying the goat on their backs away from the fire zone, the footage of these moments shared on virtual media attracted attention. Feyzi Fırat Aksay said that they took the goats to graze with his family, who are livestock farmers, and did not leave the goat he raised and named 'Sarıkız' behind when it had difficulty walking. Feyzi Fırat Aksay said, "We went to graze our animals. This one also got sick. He stayed aside. So I shouldered him and brought him here. I felt a little sad that he got sick at that moment. This was mine, I shouldered it and brought it. Its name is 'Sarıkız'. I hugged it like this and carried it. I love it very much. Its horn had been broken before, I was very sad." Feyzi Fırat Aksay also said that he wants to do animal husbandry and become a digger operator when he grows up.

Furkan Aslan also explained that he went to his cousin and his family to help and travel together in his spare time.
