Registration is now open for the Intercultura competition for the 2027-2028 school year

Online registration (www.intercultura.it) for the Intercultura competition for the 2027-2028 school year opens tomorrow, September 1st, until November 10th. The competition is aimed at high school students born between July 1, 2009 and August 31, 2012. The programs take place in 60 different destinations and allow students to attend a school abroad and live with a local family.

Among the main innovations, there are seven new programs (www.intercultura.it/studiare-estero). As regards school trips, the three-monthly course debuts in Argentina, the six-monthly course in New Zealand, Guatemala, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, destinations that have always been in great demand; Norway itself also sees the introduction of the quarterly formula.

To accompany candidates during the registration phase for the selections, the Association has planned a series of information meetings online and in person in the 160 Italian cities where it is present with its over 5,500 volunteers (www.intercultura.it/centri-locali). These appointments, which will be held throughout the opening period of the competition, between 1 September and 10 November, will allow you to delve deeper into the details of the training offer, the guidelines of the educational project and the methods of participation.

The training offer includes a wide variety of mobility programs - annual, half-yearly, quarterly, bi-monthly and summer - in around 60 destinations around the world. The project is configured as a path of active global citizenship, aimed at stimulating an ethical, empathetic and conscious orientation in young people, fundamental for understanding and acting in today's reality.

This path of personal growth is based on three institutional pillars: a selection process aimed at better self-knowledge, continuous training (in the phases preceding, contextual and subsequent to the experience) and active assistance 24 hours a day guaranteed by the network of thousands of volunteers present throughout the country.

Finally, Intercultura also confirms its commitment to economic accessibility through the provision of over 1,000 scholarships, assigned according to merit and income criteria.
