The Taoyuan bus dynamic information system was upgraded at the end of August and is still in the testing phase. However, problems such as inaccurate app information and inability to find real-time bus status are frequently reported. Taoyuan City Councilor Xie Meiying, who is not a party member, pointed out that recently she has received frequent complaints from commuters about missing the bus and waiting for a long time. The app clearly shows that the bus is about to arrive, but in fact, the bus is not seen. The next second the information has changed to leaving the station. Xie Meiying said that many people have recently reported that there is a discrepancy between the information displayed on the bus app and the actual situation, including inaccurate times, buses showing departures before they arrive, and even non-stop when passing the station.
