Price predictions were shared for Apple's first foldable phone

Price estimates shared for Apple's first foldable phone indicate that the device will be the most expensive iPhone option to date.

The data and industry reports shared by the Macworld site predict a starting price between approximately 1,999 dollars (approximately 96,900 TL) and 2,199 dollars (approximately 106,600 TL) for the basic version of the foldable model, also known as "iPhone Ultra".

While models with high storage capacity are expected to exceed the level of 2 thousand 500 dollars (approximately 121 thousand 200 TL), analysis company TrendForce calculates that the top versions can exceed 3 thousand dollars (approximately 145 thousand 400 TL).

Some industry evaluations state that the company may offer a series consisting of two different foldable devices.

Current estimates reveal that the foldable model will have an external screen of approximately 5.5 inches and an internal screen of 7.8 inches.

Reports show that the device will carry the A20 Pro chip, 12 GB RAM, dual rear cameras and a fingerprint recognition system instead of Face ID.

Although supply chain data shows that the manufacturing process is progressing, questions remain regarding shipment volume and sales schedule.

Hardware and price updates are expected in the Pro series with a traditional design.

According to the shared projections, the iPhone 18 Pro model is expected to be priced between 1,099 dollars (approximately 53,300 TL) and 1,199 dollars (approximately 58,100 TL).

The iPhone 18 Pro Max, the highest-end non-folding option of the series, is expected to carry a starting price tag between 1,319 dollars (approximately 63,900 TL) and 1,625 dollars (approximately 78,800 TL).

TrendForce and supply chain reports note that Pro models will include a new generation processor, variable aperture main camera and larger batteries.

These devices are expected to work with the A20 Pro chip developed by Taiwan-based chip manufacturer TSMC with a 2 nanometer production process and to carry the company's own second-generation C2 modem.
