Externally, the smartphones are no different from last year’s iPhone 17 Pro: the same aluminum body, a plateau in the upper part of the body with cameras and flash, and a glass insert.
The only external difference was the smaller Face ID module and with it the Dynamic Island. Other changes lie in the body colors and hardware. Thus, smartphones received a new 2-nanometer Apple A20 Pro chip: its processor has become up to 20 percent faster, and its graphics accelerator has become up to 40 percent. The vapor chamber has been tripled, allowing smartphones to maintain high performance under load up to 40 percent longer.
Another innovation was the updated main camera with variable aperture. This will allow you to regulate the amount of light entering the sensor, as well as control exposure and depth of field.

The release of the iPhone Duo has been rumored for at least three years and Apple has finally announced it. It has two displays: an external one of 5.4 inches and an internal one of 7.6 inches. Moreover, both displays have an aspect ratio of 1 to 1.4, so content can be scaled between screens without problems.
Essentially, this is a development of the iPhone Air ideas. The same case made of titanium and glass, the same plateau with cameras, which allows you to place a larger battery inside. As with the Air, the Duo completely eliminated the physical SIM card - this also helped free up space inside the case.
Apple has completely redesigned iOS to adapt to different positions of the iPhone Duo. The smartphone can be folded into a “house” and watch videos on the external display, or, conversely, rotated at an angle of 90 degrees and type text in this mode, placing the smartphone on the table.
The cameras here are much simpler than those on the iPhone 18 Pro. So, there are two cameras on the back cover: the main module and an ultra-wide-angle camera. On the external display there is a 48-megapixel front camera with a square sensor. And on the internal display the front camera is hidden under the screen.

A lot of time at the presentation was spent on the autonomy of the new devices. Apple claims the iPhone 18 Pro can last 24 hours between charges. iPhone 18 Pro Max, according to a company representative, has become the company’s longest-lived smartphone and will work for 30 hours.
In 15 minutes, the iPhone 18 Pro can charge 50 percent.
iPhone Duo also has high battery life. At the presentation, the company said that it is capable of working for 24 hours between charges. In video playback mode, it works for 44 and 31 hours, depending on which display the video is running on.
New iPhone colors
The iPhone 18 Pro Max will come in four colors and almost all of them are new. So, there will be the usual white, instead of dark blue the company is releasing black colors. Instead of the orange color of the previous generation, there will be two colors at once: blue and burgundy.
iPhone Duo will be released in only two colors: white and dark blue.
Price of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo
Apple has raised prices on all iPhones. At the presentation it was announced that the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will cost 1200 and 1300 dollars (102 and 110 thousand rubles, respectively) in the minimum version and excluding taxes. 2 terabyte versions will cost 2400 and 2500 dollars (204 and 212 thousand rubles).
iPhone Duo has become the most expensive Apple smartphone in history. Its cost starts from 2 thousand dollars excluding taxes (170 thousand rubles). The top version with 2 terabytes will cost 3.2 thousand dollars (272 thousand rubles).
Sales of the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will begin on September 18. iPhone Duo will be released in a month and a half - October 23
The remaining iPhones that remain on sale - 16, 17, 17e and Air - have increased in price by $100.

In re:store prices start from 200 thousand rubles. In turn, CDEK.Shopping announced that it will sell the iPhone 18 Pro for 147 thousand, but this does not include duties. In addition, the company notes that “the final cost of the devices may be adjusted depending on exchange rate fluctuations and logistics costs at the time of purchase”
