There are also very important football players such as Didier Deschamps among the foreigners, but İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu's priority is to entrust the team to a Turkish coach."

The name that stood out on the list of TFF, which could not get the result it wanted from Arda Turan, was Abdullah Avcı. Expressing that the experienced coach is ready for the job, Gürkan Ak said, "The name that stands out among the candidates is Abdullah Avcı. Avcı had previously coached the national team between 2011-13, but he did not have a very good period. His name started to be talked about loudly."

Gürkan Ak stated that TFF is planning to bring back the position of director of football and that he is considering Şenol Güneş for this seat and said, "There is a possibility that not only the coach but also the football structure will return to the system we have seen in the past. What is this? There was a period when Fatih Terim was the director of football for a while. A similar structuring can be done this time under the name of Şenol Güneş. TFF has a plan to bring in Şenol Güneş as the director of football, a Turkish coach under him and a new structuring and to clarify this by November. The next matches are in November.
