ASELSAN signed a 2.46 billion euro hybrid air defense system contract with the Presidency of Defense Industries.

AYDIN ​​HASAN / ANKARA - While Turkey is accelerating its work on the mass production of air defense systems in parallel with the rising conflict environment in the world, ASELSAN signed a new contract worth 2 billion 460 million euros with the Presidency of Defense Industries for the supply of hybrid air defense systems. Thus, the total value of the contracts signed by ASELSAN with the Presidency of Defense Industries for air defense projects within the scope of the multi-layered air defense system ÇELİKKUBBE in 2026 approached 7 billion euros.

ASELSAN, which took on the locomotive role in the ÇELİKKUBBE project, intensified its efforts towards the mass production of air defense systems. In 2026, ASELSAN signed 4 supply contracts with the Presidency of Defense Industries within the framework of the ÇELİKKUBBE project and 1 with ROKETSAN and notified the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).

A contract worth 780 million euros was previously signed between ASELSAN and the Presidency of Defense Industries on June 16, 1 billion 470 million 500 thousand euros on July 9, and 1 billion 8 million 500 thousand euros on October 1. The notification of the last supply contract of 2 billion 460 million euros to KAP was made yesterday. The statement said, "Contracts with a total amount of 2 billion 460 million euros for the supply of Hybrid Air Defense Systems have been signed between ASELSAN and the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, Presidency of Defense Industries." This contract is the largest contract made at once in ASELSAN's 51-year history.
