Hacker attacks on the Chamber, mailboxes targeted, including Meloni's

Hacker attack in recent days on the IT systems of the Chamber which also involved the mailboxes of numerous parliamentarians, including that of deputy Giorgia Meloni. A massive attack which therefore involved the entire system but was still kept under control by the Chamber's technicians. In particular, regarding the Prime Minister's inbox, Palazzo Chigi sources specify that it is not the one used by the Prime Minister for government communications.

The same sources specify that 'all protection measures have been put in place, also in collaboration with ACN (National Cyber Security Agency) with which a specific protocol is active. The measures may also include the temporary deactivation of some functions of the IT systems, according to practice. Furthermore, it appears that for some days similar attack attempts and pressure on the IT systems have also intensified towards other national, European and international institutions".
