Knife attack on woman in Avcılar: She went out to the street to ask for help, was stabbed again

A knife attack was carried out against a woman in the Avcılar district of Istanbul at midnight.

The incident took place in the flat on the first floor of a 4-storey building located on Hamza Yerlikaya Street in Cihangir District.

Allegedly, during the dispute that started between the couple who were arguing at home for an unknown reason, the man attacked the woman, who was said to be his girlfriend, with a knife.

HE WENT ON THE STREET TO ASK FOR HELP AND WAS STABBED AGAIN

The woman, who was injured in the attack, left the apartment covered in blood, went down to the street and shouted for help from the surrounding people.

The attacker followed the woman into the street and attacked her with a knife for the second time.

The attacker then left the scene and went to a nearby coffee shop.

HE WAS CAUGHT IN THE COFFEE SHOP WITH HIS BLOODY CLOTHES

Upon notice, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

Police teams caught the attacker while he was sitting in a nearby coffee shop with his bloody clothes on and detained him.

After the intervention of the medical teams, the injured woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance and received treatment.

The investigation into the incident continues.
