Apartment fire in Aydın Efeler: 5 people were evacuated due to smoke

The fire broke out at around 00.40 in the flat on the second floor of the 9-storey building on Adnan Menderes Boulevard, Umurlu District of Efeler district.

Firefighters, police and medical teams were dispatched to the region upon the notice of those who noticed the fire, which started for an unknown reason. As the flames quickly grew, dense smoke spread inside the building.

THOSE TRAPPED WERE EVACUATED

Residents trapped in the apartment were evacuated with the work of fire brigades. It was learned that 5 people were affected by smoke in the fire.

While some of those affected by the smoke were examined in the ambulance, some were taken to surrounding hospitals.

THE FIRE WAS EXTINGUISHED

The fire in the flat was extinguished with the intervention of fire brigades. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
