There was a shooting in the USA with numerous victims

A shooting occurred in the United States in which at least nine people were killed. CBS TV channel reported this.

In Erie, Pennsylvania, police responded to the scene around 5 p.m. local time following reports of a shooting. The bodies of two women were found near the home of the alleged shooter, and several more dead, including two children, were found inside.

It is known that the suspect in the shooting committed suicide before law enforcement officers managed to get into the building. The police also noted that there is currently no threat to public safety and an investigation has been launched. Other details of the incident are unknown at the time of writing.
