Frightening fire in the construction site in Bahçelievler

The fire broke out around 11:00 in the construction area on Elmalı Street in Çobançeşme District. The insulation materials at the foundation of the construction started to burn for an unknown reason.

As the flames rose, dense black smoke covered the surroundings. When the smoke spread to the street, people around them tried to protect themselves from the smoke by covering their mouths and noses.

Due to the incident, there was a short-term panic on the street. Upon notice, fire brigade and police teams were dispatched to the scene. With the intervention of fire crews, the fire was extinguished in a short time.
