Minister Institution announced: New housing for beneficiaries in Maltepe

According to the statement made by the Ministry, the Urban Transformation Directorate met with all eligible citizens within 9 days after the collapse of the building.

The Presidency offered 2 options, including that the beneficiaries can receive the keys of their new residences in the Esenkent District IETT Blocks as of tomorrow, and the beneficiaries can have their homes rebuilt on site under the coordination of the Urban Transformation Directorate.

On the other hand, citizens were shown around sample flats and as a result of the work, the keys will be delivered to citizens who want to buy ready-made flats 20 days after the collapse.

In both options, citizens will be offered favorable payment terms spanning many years.

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum also made a statement on the issue on his social account.

Minister Kurum said, "Our eligible citizens in Kardeşler Apartment Building and its surroundings, which collapsed on October 8, are getting their new homes. Those who wish will be able to receive the keys of their new homes in Esenkent District İETT Blocks as of tomorrow. Those who do not want it will have their new homes with affordable payment terms by transforming their homes on site with TOKİ." he said.
