Zafer Boyun's name was also mentioned in the investigations and indictments regarding the structure led by Barış Boyun; It was claimed that he was one of the names responsible for arms trade within the organization.

Zafer Boyun was tried as one of the leaders of the organization in the file known to the public as the "Daltons case", which included 362 defendants. The court sentenced Boyun to a total of 12 life imprisonment, 6 of which were aggravated, and a total of 681 years and 4 months in prison for different crimes.

In the case in question, the files of some defendants, including Barış Boyun, were separated because they could not be caught.
