Support from Barzani to the Terror-Free Türkiye process

KRG President Nechirvan Barzani met with DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan in Erbil and discussed the latest developments regarding the peace process in Turkey.

According to the statement made by the KRG Presidency, during the meeting, the parties discussed the peace process in Turkey and the latest developments in the process and emphasized the importance of taking advantage of this historical opportunity for peace. In the statement, it was pointed out that this opportunity should not be missed and the importance of support from all parties for the success of the process was emphasized.

Reiterating KRG's support for the peace process, Barzani stated that KRG is ready to provide any assistance necessary for the success of the process and stated that peace is important for the security and stability of Turkey as well as the entire region.
