Important Messages from President Erdoğan at the Opening of Samsun City Hospital

Breaking news: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements at the Samsun City Hospital Opening Ceremony. President Erdoğan said, "I want it to be known that the book of coups in Türkiye is now closed. This nation will not allow it to be opened again." he said.

We came to Samsun with investments. 1458 bed capacity, 230 intensive care beds, 40 operating rooms equipped with high technology. 320 polyclinics and oral and dental health units. Samsun City Hospital will serve as the health base of the region. Our hospital is equipped with the most modern devices, including 3 MRI, 3 Tomography, 6 Ultrasound.

The city hospitals project was my dream. Like you, I have personally experienced the disruptions in the healthcare system in the past. If only it were the language of ancient Türkiye. Thanks to our 24 years of investments, Türkiye is highlighted in the world in the field of healthcare.

In our country, the most obvious example of front politics based solely on opposition to the government is city hospitals. These hospitals have been the target of criticism from the opposition since the first day.

We have established a health system throughout our country in which our citizens will be treated humanely, regardless of their income group or profession. Previously, our citizens would go abroad for health care, now the situation is reversed. Every year, hundreds of thousands of foreign patients seek healing in Türkiye.

THE BOOK OF COUPS IS NOW CLOSED

The September 12 coup did not only cause deep wounds in the hearts of our nation. At the same time, it dealt heavy blows to Türkiye's growth and development. The September 12 coup lies at the root of many problems that still consume our energy today, especially terrorism. I would like you to know that the book of coups in Türkiye is now closed. This nation will not allow it to be opened again. We will continue our struggle for democracy with determination. With the authority we received from our people, we will take care of the nation's trust and protect it at the expense of our lives.
