One lawmaker held a press conference at the National Assembly on this day, two days before Candidate Kim's National Assembly confirmation hearing, and responded to the ruling party's claims by saying, "Kim Seung-won was an 'unheard-of person' at the time (slang for a bastard who has never heard or seen anything), so who would target an unheard-of person for investigation?"

He then sarcastically said, "(Before the nomination of the ministerial candidate), the only thing I knew about Kim Seung-won was when he referred to the National Assembly speaker from his own party as 'GSGG' and a bastard."

He also responded to the statement by Rep. Seo Young-kyo of the Democratic Party of Korea, chairman of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee of the National Assembly, and Rep. Kim Eui-gyeom, the ruling party's secretary-general, at a previous press conference that "circumstances have been revealed in which prosecutor Han Dong-hoon attempted to involve opposition party leader Lee Jae-myeong from the early stages of the prosecution's investigation into candidate Kim Seung-won," as "a first-of-its-kind comment."

He continued, "It appears that President Lee Jae-myung is involved in the 'poison drug lobby,'" and added, "If you know anything like that, please report it to me. I will protect you two so they don't end up in the drum."

Rep. Seo said to himself, "Can all kinds of nasty things come out of the mouth of a member of the National Assembly?" and said, "The Democratic Party 'outed' a public interest informant and showed its teeth to the public. The teeth it exposes to the public should be pulled out."

Regarding the ruling party's pressure to disclose the source of the transcript related to Candidate Kim's lobbying suspicions, one lawmaker drew a line, saying, "I did not receive it from the prosecution. However, even if I received it from the prosecution, it is not a problem and it is fully worth protecting."

Regarding Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Dong-ah accusing her of leaking investigation materials related to Candidate Kim and receiving an investigation by the police on the same day, he pointed out, "The police covered up the Jeju disappearance case for several months until the body was found, but now that the Democratic Party has brought in a complaint that has not been made, they are investigating the accuser even on a Sunday like today."

He pointed out, “If you only conduct investigations that suit the regime’s tastes, the police will fall further and further,” adding, “When I sued Kim Min-seok, leader of the Democratic Party, for spreading false information, (the police) did not tell me to come back.”

In addition, he emphasized, "Now that 200 people are fighting against just me, I have to fight 200 times more than usual. Among those 200 people, there are 180 members of the Democratic Party, but there are also 10 people from Jang Dong-hyuk's party faction," and emphasized, "If I can stop this, I will write not 50 but 5,000 (social media posts) a day."

He then lashed out, saying, "Jang Dong-hyuk's party faction, if you are not going to fight together, help the Democratic Party and not interfere with me, just plant a king flower and beat the drums."
