Berlusconi remembered at 90 years of age by family, friends and politicians throughout Italy and Europe

A mass in Porto Rotondo, then the family lunch organized by the children Marina, Piersilvio, Barbara, Eleonora and Luigi, on the initiative of the latter, the youngest of the three had by his second wife Veronica Lario. There was the last companion, Marta Fascina, accompanied by Gianni Letta; there were Fedele Confalonieri, Marcello Dell'Utri, Adriano Galliani, as well as some managers linked to Berlusconi and the family businesses. With them also the mayor of Olbia, Settimo Nizzi, former personal doctor of Berlusconi when he was on holiday in Sardinia.

The President of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, opening the proceedings of the chamber, recalled that "there is a before and an after Berlusconi not only as a politician but also as an entrepreneur. It seemed right to me to remember Silvio Berlusconi in a chamber which as Prime Minister saw him as a participant and protagonist". Lorenzo Fontana, president of the Chamber of Deputies, remembers "his figure and the role he had in the political, institutional and entrepreneurial life of our country" with an "affectionate thought" to his family and his political community. "We remembered Silvio Berlusconi here in the European Parliament with the President Roberta Metsola, with the President of the EPP Manfred Weber, with the entire Forza Italia delegation. We especially remembered Berlusconi the European, but not only Berlusconi the European, Berlusconi the Westerner, because he considered Europe inextricably linked to America.
