At the extraordinary general assembly held in Beşiktaş last week, current president Serdal Adalı was re-elected as president. A certificate of signature ceremony was held today at Tüpraş Stadium for President Adalı and the members of the board of directors. Serdal Adalı received his certificate from the chairman of the council board, Ahmet Ürkmezgil, and the chairman of the general assembly council, Burak Özmen.
Making a statement at the memorandum ceremony, Beşiktaş Board of Directors Chairman Ahmet Ürkmezgil said, "I congratulate the president Serdal Adalı and the members of the board of directors, who once again assumed the responsibility of managing Beşiktaş with the will of our general assembly, and I wish their duties to be beneficial for our community. Beşiktaş is a big community. There is a new era ahead of us. General assembly periods with extraordinary elections, where elections and management changes are discussed, should be left behind. What Beşiktaş needs from now on is stability, peace and unity." "I have no doubt that our President Serdal Adalı and our board of directors will ensure this stability in the coming period and take Beşiktaş to a stronger point in terms of sport and finance. We have to turn this belief into reality together. I believe that the success of Beşiktaş should be our common goal from today on. It is time to talk about successes, not elections. SERDAL ADALI: WE HAVE MANY MORE RESPONSIBILITIES AGAINST BEŞİKTAŞ AND BEŞİKTAŞ PEOPLE
Saying that the 1.5 years he spent as president of the black-and-white club was very meaningful for him, Adalı said, "As you all know, we left behind our administrative and financial general assembly, and then our extraordinary general assembly with elections. In both of these assemblies, we received the support of our community and congress members, and we were once again proud. The day I received the certificate of election as the Chairman of the Beşiktaş Board of Directors, the date was January 6, 2025. Just as I was excited, proud and happy that day, I present you with the same feelings today." I came here. These 1.5 years that I have spent as Beşiktaş President are the most meaningful period of my life. I continue to carry out this duty with the support of our general assembly members and our community. We have held 3 elected general assemblies in the last 1.5 years. Our community has deemed us worthy of this certificate 3 times. This means that we carry an even greater responsibility towards Beşiktaş and the people of Beşiktaş, who have supported me since the first day I set out. "I would like to thank my brothers, my companions and the great Beşiktaş community for their efforts," he said.

Stating that they will work with all their strength to carry Beşiktaş to higher levels, Serdal Adalı said, "We are here to make them a reality, to carry Beşiktaş to the successes and good times it deserves.
