A certificate of arms ceremony was held for Serdal Adalı, who was elected as the president, and the members of the board of directors at the extraordinary general assembly held in Beşiktaş on Sunday.
At the ceremony held at the Tüpraş Stadium Fashion Center, Serdal Adalı received his certificate of certification from the Chairman of the Council Board, Ahmet Ürkmezgil, and the Chairman of the General Assembly Council, Özkan Burak Özmen.
Certificates of certificates were also presented to the other names who will serve on the board of directors.
"NOW IS TIME TO TALK ABOUT ACHIEVEMENTS, NOT ELECTIONS"
Ahmet Ürkmezgil, who made the opening speech of the ceremony, said that Beşiktaş should now leave the election agenda and focus on stability.
Ürkmezgil said, "I congratulate the president Serdal Adalı and the members of the board of directors, who have once again assumed the responsibility of managing Beşiktaş with the will of our general assembly, and I wish their duties to be beneficial for our community. Beşiktaş is a big community. There is a new era ahead of us. General assembly periods with extraordinary elections, where elections and management changes are discussed, should be left behind."
Stating that Beşiktaş's priority should be stability, Ürkmezgil continued his words as follows:
"What Beşiktaş needs from now on is stability, peace, unity and success. I have no doubt that our President Serdal Adalı and our board of directors will provide this stability in the coming period and take Beşiktaş to a stronger point in sports and financial terms. We have to turn this belief into reality together."
"OUR COMMON GOAL SHOULD BE BEŞİKTAŞ'S SUCCESS"
Ürkmezgil also said, "From today on, the common goal of all of us should be Beşiktaş's success. I believe that the management will work with determination and transparency. It is time to talk about successes, not elections. It is time to direct Beşiktaş's energy to the goals on the field, not to internal issues. I wish the president and the board of directors success in their duties."
"I KEEP MY FIRST DAY EXCITEMENT"
Mayor Serdal Adalı, in his speech at the certificate of election ceremony, said that he maintained the same excitement as when he first took office.
Adalı said, "As you all know, we left behind our administrative and financial general assembly, and then our extraordinary general assembly with elections. We received the support of our community and congress members in these two assemblies, and we were once again proud."
"THIS 1.5 YEARS ARE THE MOST MEANINGFUL PERIOD OF MY LIFE"
Recalling the day he received his first certificate, Adalı said, "The day I received the certificate of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beşiktaş, the date was January 6, 2025. I came before you with the same feelings today as I was excited, proud and happy that day. These 1.5 years that I spent as the chairman of Beşiktaş are the most meaningful period of my life."
Adalı said, "I continue to carry out this duty and enjoy this honor with the support of our general assembly members and our community. In the last 1.5 years, we have held three general assemblies with elections due to the circumstances. Our community has deemed us worthy of this certificate three times. This means that we carry much more responsibility towards Beşiktaş and Beşiktaş fans."
"NOW THERE ARE BIGGER DREAMS NEXT"
Thanking those who supported him, Adalı said, "I would like to thank my family, who has supported me since the first day I set out, my brothers, my companions who have worked with us, and the great Beşiktaş community."
Explaining his goals for the new period, Adalı said, "Now it is time for bigger dreams. We are here to make them come true and to carry Beşiktaş to the successes and good days it deserves. In the new period, we will work with all our strength in financial and sports terms to carry Beşiktaş always better and higher."

At the end of the ceremony, Serdal Adalı gave gifts with eagle figures to the members of the congress council that manages the ordinary administrative and financial general assembly and the extraordinary elective general assembly.
After the memorandum ceremony, Adalı and the board members took a souvenir photo.
