It is understood that the bridge is located in Jinniu District, Chengdu. It is a control project for the Chengdu-Chongqing Middle Line High-speed Railway to be introduced into the Chengdu hub project. The total length of the bridge is about 1.47 kilometers. It adopts a cast-in-place continuous beam structure of (62+2×112+62) meters. It spans the Dasha River, the existing Si Maqiao urban main road, Metro Line 3 and the west throat area of ​​the newly built passenger aircraft maintenance station. The entire bridge is designed in three sections: "left and right lines, double lines, and left and right lines". The bridge piers are arranged from No. 0 to No. 39. The section that is closed this time is located between No. 19 and No. 20, just across the Dasha River and Si Maqiao Road.

The so-called EMU line, referred to as "EMU line", is a dedicated line in the railway system connecting the station and the EMU operation station, allowing EMU trains to travel between the station and the maintenance and repair base.

“For high-risk processes such as high pier construction, cross-road operations, and construction adjacent to existing operating railways, the project team implemented real-time stress and linear monitoring of the cast-in-place continuous beam throughout the entire process, and dynamically adjusted construction parameters to ensure that the beam’s linear shape was smooth and smooth, and the internal force met the design requirements. "Wu Zhaoxu, project manager of the Chengdu hub project department of the Chengdu-Chongqing Middle Line High-speed Railway of China Railway No. 8 Bureau, said that in terms of quality control, key processes such as formwork installation, steel bar binding, and concrete pouring are strictly controlled one by one, and the "three inspection system" is implemented. All indicators meet the design and specification requirements.

Construction in urban core areas also has high requirements for environmental protection. The project strictly implements dust control, noise reduction and pollution reduction measures to minimize the impact on surrounding traffic and environment.

It is reported that after the Chengdu-Chongqing Middle Line high-speed rail moving line crosses the Shahe River Bridge and is successfully closed, the travel paths of the EMUs to and from the Chengdu station and the EMU will be efficiently connected. The key choke point of the Chengdu-Chongqing Middle Line high-speed rail moving line project will be opened, and it will also create conditions for the subsequent ancillary and supporting projects to fully roll out the operating surface.
